Reading the Micrometer
This program teaches students how to read a standard and vernier micrometer.
The program includes student worksheets, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Also included is a computer based test and in instructor grade book. The instructor can view and/or print out the students grades. Students can print a certificate of completion at the end of the program. The program includes the following lessons:

The program explains to students the need for accurate and standardized measurements. The proper use and care of the micrometer is also explained.
